xxxHolic Shunmuki is a two oav episode which crossover with Tsubasa Chronicles. It came out on January and Jun 2009. This anime is subbed by Aone-Diffusion.

- Story depicted that Watanuki  now changed and so is people around him . Watanuki is now able to open up his problem with people his acquainted too. Back in xxxHolic Kei , Doumeki and Himawari traded their blood and body to be able to save Watanuki . With this, Watanuki felt that he owes them a lot . Watanuki manage to thank Doumeki , this is something new as he would never acknowledge Doumeki’s help before the incident.

-In the first episode, Doumeki told Kohane Chan why he befriends Watanuki. He once saw Watanuki at river bank holding a dead cat and whispering to himself that he would die alone and no one would notice him gone.

-Yuuko mentions that they are 4 people trade up something in order for Watanuki to survive that day. Doumeki, Himawari , Doumeki’s grandfather and Syaoran.

- In Watanuki’s dream he met Haruka, Doumeki’s father. Watanuki asked what he could do to repay Haruka, and Haruka tasked him to look for 5 items . The first item is a story book about birds. Watanuki and Doumeki were brought into a dream within the story where they were almost eaten by those birds.

- 2nd item is a mirror. The mirror is somewhere within shrine lake. While they were there Zasihiki Warashi and Ame Warashi shows up. Ame Warashi told them that they heard Watanuki was hurt and they came to confirm the news. Zashiki Warashi accidentally pushes Watanuki into the lake in which later he found the mirror under a big green stone.

- Upon doing a ritual to know what clues the mirror show meant, Himawari shows up and gave Watanuki cream puff. Watanuki them offer her tea which Himawari response that this makes him looks like he’s living with Doumeki. When Watanuki wasn’t around, she asked Doumeki if Watanuki has found out about what they did and he confirmed it.

- 3rd item is a key which brought them to the fourth item, a box that was under the first item. Watanuki opens it up and went into a dream. In his dream again he saw Haruka. But Haruka said that he didn’t bring him here to see him. The items were actually a seal breaking so that Watanuki could meet Sakura chan.

- Something happened to Sakura. She ran away from her daily life into this dream . I don’t know what bcause I did not follow Tsubasa’s anime nor manga for that matter. Sakura said that she isn’t sacrificing herself, but she is trying to do what is best for everyone including herself and it might not be the best way . Sakura does not know who Watanuki is so she asked him  his name. When Watanuki told his full name , Sakura was surprise as Watanuki Kimihiro meaning is Sakura and Syaoran’s birth month. While they were talking, Syaoran the clone and the real Syaoran barge into this dream. And before Watanuki fade of from this dream, Syaoran said to him that no matter how hard it is, he must fulfil his duty. As Watanuki is his other self.

- In the next dream, he meet Yuuko san. Yuuko is unhappy or sort. Yuuko explained that there are two types of dreams. One you see in real life, and one you see in your dream. Doesn’t matter which one of it, if you wish for it strongly It will become reality. Watanuki then ask what is it that Yuuko wants? Yuuko has always been granting others wish but what does she wish for that may need granted no matter what ? Watanuki hold her hand and promise that if it is something he is capable doing, he will try to grant it. And he begs that Yuuko tells him so that he can fulfil it.

- This surprise Yuuko and she hugs him dearly.

Along the 2 seasons have you ever seen her shocked? I haven’t.. It must have meant dearly to yuuko.. Now I’m dying to knw what is her wish. Someone at animesuki said there will be another ova coming soon. And the story is now might follow manga’s original story from now one. That’s good isn’t it ?
