Sasameki Koto is among the top 10 of my anticipated anime of this year. I’ve only begun reading it first half of this year and very excited upon hearing it’s going animated. Well yeah their first episode is here.
- Story started with 2 girl kissing in classroom, accidently watched by Sumika and Kazama.
- Next day during lunch, kazama announce that she has fallen in love with a girl aka Senpai from her library task partner. She announce that she likes cute girl with cute personality .
- Sumika then hits her with reality. A girl as cute as Senpai might have a bf and even if she did not have a bf, she might have someone she likes.
- Feeling bitter, Kazama avoided Sumika and she slowly thought about it while thinking what if she confesses to her senpai. What will her response be?
- Senpai then suddenly approach Kazama and told her that a guy from her class comes to this library everyday just to see Kazama and asked her to ask Kazama if she’s available. Turns out that Senpai likes this guy and hated Kazama for it.
- Sumika found Kazama crying in the library knowing that Senpai now hates her.
- As Sumika and Kazama reconcile while walking home, Kazama grab Sumika’s hand and ask her to be her friend forever.
- The next day, Sumika cries at lunch remembering what they talk about last night. If only Kazama knew..
Notes
- I don’t remember the first chapter of sasameki koto to be this slow pace and boring. If I recall, it was quite fun reading the first chapter. Might just be me tho
- Voice actress for all character seems to fit well. I like Sumika and Kazama’s voice better than Aoi Hana.
- It was sad watching when Kazama said, “ ah am I going to always have a one sided love forever . If only the person I like likes me back “. While Sumika agrees to it with bitter feelings. Kazama might not meant it but it was like she’s mocking Sumika.
- Overall I like the animation. The songs were a bit sad for comical anime yet then I guess it fits the theme for this episode. And well I didn’t expect first episode to be this sad.
