It is summer holiday and Kanako was held over summer courses school since she fails all of her exam papers. Summer courses can be taken by anyone which is why Ryuken, Inamori and Sachi is staying over voluntary just to study for their future. Turns out this week are also Sachi’s birthday which will be held grandiosely at the school chapel.

Kanako is excited that she has another chance on secretly taking Sachi’s pictures for her perverted collections. She then shows Maria her look alike iPod mp3 player than can also snap picture and it was immediately confiscated by Maria.

Everyone was there at the chapel, even the school teachers and foreigner that had nothing to do with Ame no Kisaki. Sachi’s is more helpful than doraemon , she has help a lot of people including digging a hot spring during the girls bathroom broke down and also help a selfish king change into a good king… LOL. I’m pretty sure this is a parody of another anime… Maria is skeptical of what Kanako will give Sachi, he then inspects Kanako’s gift and turns out that Kanako bought a cosplay set of sexy devil lingerie. It was immediately confiscated by Matsurika.

Everyone else is giving Sachi the gift that Sachi always wanted and Kanako realize that she had subconsciously tried to forcefully push her perverted hobby on Sachi , Kanako felt ashamed and ran away from Sachi..

Kanako is in deep thoughts about how Sachi always helped her from the beginning when Sachi found her outside. Maria then shows up with a book in her hand and hand over it to Sachi telling her it was what Kanako had prepared for Sachi’s birthday. It was Kanako collections of Sachi’s pictures that Maria confiscated before.

Sachi’s was so happy with this gift so she thanks Kanako from the bottom of her heart. This is making Kanako felt even guiltier of her perverted thoughts and the real truth behind that album. Later that night, Kanako was told to repent and they decided that Kanako’s character will be muted in the next episode.

Again this episode shows Maria not as mean as previous season and it seems that Matsurika is the one giving those means action. In this episode she kept slapping hitting and kicking Kanako and also stabbing hurtful words.

What I like the most is that they now shows more of Maria relationship with Shizu, at the end of the show they show how Maria trolled his sister by giving her dozens of homework which is actually a puzzle trick question.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]his is continuation of episode 12 in season 1 , the day where Kanako colored the pool in red. As usual we see Kanako over excited that everyone will be in swimsuits and chances that there’ll be wardrobe malfunction aka flying tops and her own flying licks. [pullquote type="1" ]What’s a flying lick you ask? It’s where Kanako would fall and lick someone else’s breast.[/pullquote]

The anime however cut off the incident where she contaminated pool and goes straight to Maria’s house. There Maria snickered to Shizu that she never expected flying tops would actually happen. Shizu protest and said Kanako wouldn’t act that way if Maria didn’t push her too much. In this episode they finally told us who the butler beside Shizu is. Butler name Ringo is actually Matsurika twin brother. He has a cheerful attitude and an interest in survival game. A little bit of Maria childhood was mention here where Ringo and Maria often planting booby traps just to prank with each other. A filler of father Kanae fallen into one of the booby trap was shown for about 15 seconds.

[box type="1" ]Kanako decided to visit Shido’s mansion to apologize again to Shizu but she has fallen into one of Ringo’s booby trap. Kanako however was told of by Maria to go back home as she won’t be going back with her. Maria insisted on not telling her why. The next morning Enjouji sensei called Kanako into a room with Shizu waiting in a bathrobe. Enjouji sensei the swim meet teacher, wanted Kanako to demonstrate flying tops once again… And that was a dream. [/box]

[box type="blank" class="border-dashed2"]Kanako woken up and saw Shizu in her room. Shizu has switched place with Maria since today is Mihoshi no Mori’s swim meet. Kanako was overjoyed that today she finally has a real pretty girl sharing a room with her and not some sadistic cross dressing dude. However she later realizes that her time with Shizu is limited since Shizu is a first year and they won’t be in the same class.[/box]

[box type="1" ]Later that day Shizu in her gym suits called Kanako and ask her to meet behind the school. Shizu then confessed that she ask Maria to switch forever because she realizes that she has fallen for Kanako. Just about where they were almost to kiss, Enjouji sensei enter the scene and forbid Shizu ever touching Kanako . Her reasoning was Kanako belongs to her. As Enjouji sensei about to kiss Kanako, school bell rang for lunch woke Kanako up from her lustful dream.[/box]

Kanako enrage by herself keep getting woken up during critical moment decided that she wanted Shizu to be her roommate for a longer time and the most appropriate thing to do is to infiltrate Mihoshi no Mori and sabotage Maria into an accident.

[box type="blank" class="border-dashed2"]Kanako manage to infiltrate but she took too much time thinking. Ringo, being Matsurika twin brother informs everyone that Kanako is actually a member of Japan Calvary Member Federation that came to judge them on their swim cavalry battle.[/box]

And that is how she got herself stuck in between so many men.

Since Kanako failed badly in her exam she was sent by God to a room which air and space float difference than our usual world, one week in real world would meant a year in the room. Dragon ball much ? During that time, Maria went back to her house . After a week goes by it seems that everything has change.

When she first came back from the room, she started speaking Kansai dialect with God . She now has longer hair and gain height.  How everyone commented Kanako is now exactly 2cm taller makes me laugh. When she goes back to her classroom her desk has been ornamented by Ayari the student president.

Ishima started a hairstyles trend which is what everyone is following now. And also Honoka has become the school expert stylist after styling Kanako’s hair while she pass out. While Ayari is the expert on making glittery ornament which is why Kanako’s trio friend booked Ayari to decorate her table.

[box type="1" ][dropcap]In[/dropcap] episode 6, the story explain of what really happened during 1 week of Kanako’s disappearing. In the early starting of this anime the title was changed to Matsurika Holic but later Maria commented that titled mismatched its content due to almost half of the anime was about father Kanae’s lust. Maria also commented that there’s no need for Kanako as main character if the storyline goes the way it is , is much interesting than with Kanako. [/box]

However at the beginning , Matsurika were seen smsing her parent the way Kanako always do , ” dear mother and father at home ” . Telling them of what is happening today.

Due to a misunderstanding , Kanae was given an impression that Kanako killed herself for failing her exams. While asking the matter with Matsurika and Maria the misunderstanding got even worst . However Kanae felt it was a perfect opportunity for him to console Maria of Kanako’s death. Since he couldn’t find Maria in her dorm, he went to her house and met Shizu instead. While being there Kanae fell in love with Shizu but he tried to deny his feeling because Shizu is a “boy”. Confused with his own feelings , he ran off home wearing a bathrobe.

On his way back to school he met Mariya and Matsurika but this time he was not enchanted by them because in his mind he can only think of Shizu. Not realizing that he was only wearing a bathrobe , he stumbled Natsuru at school . Natsuru was shaken that she saw Kanae and thoughts to herself that he can’t tell anyone that father kanae is a pervert who walks into school at night wearing just bathrobe.

Main char Rin had a twin brother, Yukio the weaker one . Since the Rin has tremendous power from Satan, the younger brother sharing the same mother womb and blood had difficulties in early age because he can see ghost and invisible things , an effect of being in the same womb with his brother.

Thus the story is about how Rin learns how to be an exorcist with his brother in an academy that was build to fight Satan.

After looking it up, it was sang by 2pm titled Take Off. I couldn’t find any Korean version of the same song tho.[/box]

Episode 1 started with parody of Maria Sama Ga Miteru . We saw Kanako’s yuri imagination of how she walks through the gate and walk by in front of Maria’s statue and students wish ” Gokigenyo” to Kanako, the popular student. How she remarks that she no longer walk awkwardly in her skirt, neck collar always up. That just screams Marimite all over the show. Still good for now

Then the opening song, I’m pretty sure it was some parody of a battle anime or something. Was pretty hillarious and… that was all. It was pretty much boring after and up to episode 4, its not ass kicking like season 1.

What happen man? Did you guys go low on budget or lack of idea to make it snappy and funny ? They need to get Maria evil sense back right now!

[box type="1"]So I googled up and found out that he was arrested for carrying and distributing drugs. Jailed for 2 years and banned from every show he was ever on KBS. Now that’s irony.. the last time I saw him on the show, he was doing a mission where he needs to start over his career.[/box]

He was shooting a free movie for a new production team and it needed to be at a grand hospital. The management of the hospital at first does not want to collaborate with this unknown production team but when they heard Kim Sung Min and KBS/QOF was involved, they allowed them to shoot the scene.

[box type="1"] On that show Kim Sung Min keep rubbing and sniffing? his nose. And I recalled thinking at the moment “he looks like a drug junkie” . Drug addict , junkies what ever you name it does those things all the time. That’s how we recognize drug addicts. It doesn’t make sense to me that he is a junkie since he looks healthy ? but soon after that he was removed from the show. Thinking back, he was always being recognize for his erratic behavior on the show.

Now back to the original title of this post, Lee Jung Jin is leaving QOF. They are replacing him with Jun Hyun Moo. This is sad.. Jung Jin rather quiet in the show however he makes the show in certain status. I don’t watch the show for him yet I think his slot is just right for him. Replacing him with Hyun Moo? Bad choice. With QOF keep being re place on unknown schedule , my guess is that I won’t be missing it much.

[dropcap]M[/dropcap]izuho Miyanoukouji was sent to study at Seio Girl’s Academy by his grandfather will. Despite being a guy, he agreed to it. . At first he was scared that everyone would figure out his disguise but his childhood friend Mariya thinks that he would fit nicely at the academy.As a guy, he is talented in sports and as a girl he is really pretty, having the tall nice figure, nice to everyone and he has the personality of a very polite and cheerful girl. Because of that, he was extremely popular within days arriving. However, his classmate Shion Jujo figured out who he is the 2nd time she met him.

[box type="1" ]But Shion Jujo has no intention on telling everyone who Mizuho is and the 3 of them became good friend. Shion was actually the “One-sama” for last year. One-sama is somewhat the same system as Strawberry Panic / Maria Sama Ga Miteru where everyone would look at her as idol and role-model.[/box]

Shion gave her blessing for Mizuho to be the next One-Sama despite the objection of Itsukushima Takako, the school council president. Takako despise the fact that a new transfer student would become the next One-Sama as one who just joined wouldn’t be able to understand the heritage of Seio’s Academy One-Sama system.

[box type="1" ]Takako and Mariya had always been in a bad term so whenever Takako objects, Mariya would push things to go forward for Mizuho just to enraged Takako more. Despite being in constant fight against Takako, Mizuho just couldn’t be enemy with Takako. He would often be in the middle, trying to reach the best option for both parties. After a lot of incident, Takako who first refuses to see Mizuho as a capable candidate of One-Sama, has fallen in love with her.[/box]

This anime was tagged as shoujo-ai however the only part that was shoujo-ai related is when the ghost explain how she fall in love with Mizuho’s mom and became ghost since she couldn’t met her before she die. At first we were somewhat fooled by Mizuho’s grandfather wills. The story seems to trying to tell that his grandfather wanted him to learn more about his mom more by attending Seio. He had arranged for Mizuho to stay at the same room as his mother did. However, only 1 episode ever mention of his mom and who she is. The rest was about how Mizuho and the gang daily girls life adventure – somewhat.

Yet this anime is way much better than Kampfer. I did get bored after 9 straight episodes but it is somewhat acceptable. Mizuho, does look pretty and Shion is kind of my type of girl. The one-sama system did make the anime feels a bit like doujin version of Maria Sama ga miteru and strawberry panic. If you don’t have anything to watch and need to fill your list of shoujo-ai anime, this one is not so bad 
However I do feel kind of disappointed. Just why is it they cannot make a proper shoujo-ai anime without the H and without the weird plot / terrible animation. When they did make one, they made it into gender-bender or some H with tentacles. Frustrating.
